Mercure Auckland Queen Street and Ascotia Off Queen have joined the 1834 Hotels network, initiating the group’s strategic expansion across the Pacific. This milestone comes as 1834 Hotels continues its trajectory of growth, following the recent appointed of Rod Harrex as Chief Executive Officer, a move that has strengthened strategic focus and underpinned opportunities for regional expansion. Founder Andrew Bullock has transitioned to Executive Chairman, enabling increased emphasis on growth initiatives and development across new markets.
