The Adelaide Convention Bureau held their annual Destination SA Exhibition this week at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
The showcase presented the best experiences, products and services available for business events within the state.
Guests were welcomed to Adelaide on Monday night with a progressive dinner through the beautiful heritage listed buildings along North Terrace. Starting off with drinks and canapes in the Art Gallery, guests then moved on to the Museum of South Australia to sample the best in local produce. They finished the night in the State Library to enjoy a 1920s style party complete with jazz band and Gin bar.
The following day, guests had the opportunity to attend face to face meetings with local event businesses and tourism operators. This is a chance to make valuable connections between organisations and the national and international guests looking to host their business events in South Australia.
That night attendees were treated to dinner at the Fringe Club in Rymill Park. The menu designed by Blanco Food & Events showcased some of South Australia’s delights, paired with a range of Penfolds wines.
Guests were entertained by snippets of Fringe acts throughout the evening. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening that really showcased what South Australia has to offer.
1834 Hotels is proud to have been a part of this year’s event and looks forward to growing the relationships that were formed this week.
