1834 Hotels Marketing Manager wins National award for regional tourism
Bianca Sowik has been recognised as a rising star of regional tourism when she was announced as the 2013 Young Tourism Professional of the Year at the Australian Regional Tourism Network (ARTN) National convention in Margaret River last week.
Bianca was selected as the National winner from five finalists from across Australia, identified as emerging leaders of the tourism industry by their respective State Tourism Organisations.
ARTN is the peak body that represents regional tourism practitioners and acts as a hub for collaboration, cooperation, ideas generation, knowledge sharing, networking and more. The Young Tourism Professional Awards, sponsored by MyTravelResearch.com, are designed to recognise and reward young professionals to retain them as part of the regional tourism’s workforce.
As the winner Bianca will have the opportunity to contribute to developments in the Australian regional tourism industry as a member of the ARTN Board for the next 12 months.
